I'd planned for the boys to go through June with regular school work. But this past week, Luke, Micah, and Jacob were diagnosed with strep throat, and there's a possibility Jacob has mono. Needless to say, it was a light school schedule, and any momentum (not that we really had momentum as the end of May approached) we had was squelched.
We're switching to our Summer School schedule early. Math daily, some reading, and a bit of writing. Just enough to keeps skills fresh and a bit of forward movement going, and enough to keep their minds busy and enough to keep them occupied when I work. Then they'll be free to get outside and work on their own projects.
For me, it means documenting Luke's year (course descriptions, books read, grades), as well as planning next year. I'm going to attempt to keep it realistic and streamlined.
