Eventually, I will update the sidebar. Until then, here are our plans for next school year.

Hi, I'm new to your blog...I came over from WTM. How do you use only one Core with the age span you have? I have really liked Sonlight, but I'm thinking of switching to TOG for the multi-level aspect. I just didn't see how to do that with SL without doing multiple cores!

Hi Ruby,

We've completed through Day 9 of school, and Sonlight 6 is working well. Since it schedules Story of the World 1 & 2, it works out nicely for my younger guys. I have the SOTW activity guide, and use it for reserving books at the library for them, and I've assigned my middle son some Magic Tree House books and Research Guides, and will have him read some of the chapter books from the SOTW activity guide. They all listen to the SL read alouds.

I don't know if I could make any SL cores other than 6 & 7 work for the age span of my boys.

This is great! I am planning on doing something similar next year with my 10, 9, and 5 year old. Thanks!

I found your site through WTM boards
