The very first lesson in Rod and Staff English is a lesson on how to treat your textbook. During the review lesson today, one of the questions was "How should you treat your English textbook?"

Ahhhhh...I remember that lesson. lol. Treat it like a friend. This book is your friend. I felt like such a moron saying it. I ended up summing it up and saying....you have 3 siblings that will inherit this book after you - don't trash it for their sake!
#2 is now halfway through it and I am still SO GLAD we found this awesome book. I'd never dream of switching.
I remember that lesson. Lydia's conclusion was something along the lines of, "Well, I'll be polite, but I don't think we'll be friends."
If I'd been blogging then, I'd know for sure what she said. How sad is that?! lol
