L was watching me peel a carrot.
He looked at me and said: "Are you supposed to be doing that?"
I replied: "I don't have to, but the outside is kind of yucky looking. Is that okay with you?"
He answered: "Yes, that's fine. I just wanted to make sure you weren't doing anything...[insert decent length pause here]...wrong."
